How to Get More Customer Reviews

One of the most important things as a business owner that you can receive from your clients is their feedback! Positive customer reviews are undeniably the key to gaining new clients and allowing your business to grow and flourish. Here are a few ideas that will get you those customer reviews that your business needs. Asking for customer reviews can be tricky. You want to be able to promote your business in a positive light while putting your clients first and not appearing to be using them. First of all, don’t let reviews intimidate you! Simply ask your clients. The key to asking, however, is to make it personable.

Make it personable!

You should always create an environment that makes your clients feel comfortable and willing to give a review. Reach out to them via email or in person and casually mention it in your conversation. This in return will not only result in a more positive review, but it could potentially encourage clients to recommend your business to a friend!

Ask sooner than later!

Furthermore, when it comes to customer reviews, do it promptly and don’t wait. Your clients are more likely to get something done when it is fresh in their mind as opposed to weeks or months later. Whether you mention it in person or not, follow up your initial request three days or so later with a reminder email containing links of where to for review submissions.

Business reviews not only provide you with the potential for new clients, but essentially help you as a business owner to understand whether or not you’re on the right track with what you’re trying to accomplish with your business!

Do you have a set process for giving reviews?
