5 Ways to Prep for Fall This SUMMER

Get ahead of planning and skip the September panic this year. We’re savoring summer, but are also giving out tips on how you can prep for the fall now! Take advantage of the upcoming busy season for many small businesses with our 5 tips below -

Create a Calendar and Don’t Forget the Holidays – September 22nd marks the official start of fall, but Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and everything in between is right around the corner. Make sure you’re taking advantage of every opportunity you can to promote your business – We also recommend researching odd holidays to look forward to – ie: Make a Difference Day on October 27, 2018.

Print Marketing Materials – Whether it be flyers, postcards, brochures or business cards, make sure you’re all stocked up! This will be a time-saver in the long run and this way, you’ll be prepped for any last minute meetings or events that arise.

Sign Up for Networking Events – One more thing to add to the calendar… A few networking events! Talking with fellow business owners always makes us feel motivated and hope it will do the same for you. Check out your local chamber of commerce or professional meet ups in the area for new events and sign up for at least one you can look forward to.

Keep Your Content Up-To-Date – Customers and clients don’t like to see “holes” in your message. Keep up with posting high quality photos and captions on your social media through the rest of summer and ramp up for fall content.

Get Ahead of Scheduling – It’s time to brainstorm content for your Facebook, Instagram and Email Marketing Platform. It may seem daunting now, but you’ll be happy you scheduled some posts ahead of time.

We hope you try any or all of these tips to ease into the transition to ensure a successful fall season!
