Bringing JOY into your HOME office

Have you had a hard time being productive while working from home? If yes, you're not alone! COVID has forced us all to be at home a lot more, which comes with pros and cons! One con we are finding is that there is a HUGE lack of privacy. Now we share our workspace with kids, husbands, childcare providers, and zoom colleagues. It's a lot to manage, and we wanted to share seven quick tips on creating a more joyful workspace at home!

Set boundaries: To make your home workspace as joyful as possible, you first need to establish boundaries with yourself. Meaning that just because there is no hard end time for the day like in an office or class, you still manage your time like you would in a formal environment.

Move Your Body: Try and take some breaks throughout the day to keep your body moving and active.

Get Organized: Make a productive workspace for yourself by having an organized and clean space.

Bring in Nature: Set up near a window or some natural light source to help boost your mood and focus. Plants are also a great way to bring joy to your space!

Block Out The Noise: Experiment with music or white noise to allow yourself to focus and block out distracting nosies (such as your kids misbehaving with the nanny or your spouse on a zoom call).

In the past six months, people have had to spend more time at home than ever before. It is essential that those who have had to and are still working from home, whether for a job or school, have a place to maximize productivity while being peaceful and joyful!
